Agricultural Technician

The Thunder Bay Agricultural Research Association (www.tbars.net) has an opening for an Agricultural Technician.

The position reports directly to the Director of Research and Business. Duties include planning and implementing the technical activities of the agronomy research program; supervising assistant(s), summer students and part time employees; collecting, organizing imputing and performing statistical analysis on research data and general operational duties.

This is a seasonal position (April 1 to November 30). Ideal candidate should have a degree in agriculture with 1-2 years experience in conducting field experiments, recording and analyzing statistical data. Skills required include Grower Pesticide, First Aid and CPR certificates, valid driver’s license, WHMIS and computer knowledge (Windows 95 and later).
